We have helped clients establish companies, manage tax matters and put the right structures in place. Over time, we come to understand more than the paperwork. We learn what clients are building, what they need to protect and what they want their wealth to make possible.

That can lead to another question: what should happen to substantial funds that remain in a bank account, sometimes earning little or no interest?

There is no single answer. Some money needs to stay accessible. Other funds may be available for longer-term consideration. What matters is that any decision fits the client’s objectives and wider financial affairs.

Our Wealth Management service gives selected clients and associates access to regulated investment services through our network of partner investment and wealth management firms, each licensed and regulated in its respective jurisdiction. It is designed to complement your existing tax, structuring and fiduciary arrangements with us. Totalserve connects clients to these firms, which provide the investment services, and a dedicated in-house contact provides continuity and remains available for ongoing tax and structuring support.

Clients can take different approaches, depending on their needs and eligibility. Some may prefer to make their own investment decisions through execution services. Others may choose non-discretionary investment advice, where the firm makes recommendations for the client’s consideration, or discretionary portfolio management under an agreed investment policy. Each firm is responsible for assessing what is appropriate for the client in light of their wider objectives.

For many people, the conversation about wealth begins with the accountant or lawyer who already knows their story. At Totalserve, we can help make it a conversation about the whole picture.
