George Economides has now formally received the CBN - Young Dragons Award in the Professional Services category, after returning from a business trip abroad that kept him from attending the official ceremony held on 19 February 2026.
The award was presented at the Totalserve Group offices in Limassol, with colleagues gathered around for a relaxed moment to mark the occasion.
Commenting on the recognition, George said:
“I was sorry to miss the ceremony - clearly my timing needs some improvement. I am genuinely grateful for this recognition. It carries my name, but it belongs to the team. Professional services is never a solo effort. It is built on trust, consistency, and people who show up every day and do things properly.”
He also referred to a point made during the ceremony:
“The professional services sector in Cyprus plays an important role in our economy and international standing. It is something we all have a responsibility to maintain and protect.”
A few photos were taken, and more than a few jokes were made about missed ceremonies and improved scheduling going forward. The team insisted on at least one “proper” pose with the award.
After that, it was back to the usual rhythm of the office - calls, meetings, and the steady flow of the day. Some things pause for a photo. Most do not.
The CBN Young Dragons Awards, organised by IMHand Cyprus Business News, recognise professionals under 40 who demonstrate leadership and contribute meaningfully to Cyprus’ business environment across a range of sectors.
