The BVI Registrar of Corporate Affairs has announced a six-month extension to the filing deadline for certain statutory registers and beneficial ownership information.
This extension applies to the initial filing period ending 1 July 2025, and now allows BVI companies until 1 January 2026 to comply with the following requirements:
- Filing of the Register of Members
- Filing of the Register of Directors
- Filing of Beneficial Ownership information
The extension provides BVI companies with additional time to finalise their filings in accordance with the new legal framework introduced on 2 January 2025, under the BVI Business Companies and Limited Partnerships (Beneficial Ownership) Regulations, 2024.
