Where were you in 1988?
For us at Totalserve, we were already well into our mission of showcasing and promoting Cyprus to the world.
It had only been 16 years since the formation of PGE&Co in London (1972), followed by the launch of Totalserve Management in 1986. Recently, we came across brochures and newspaper clippings from that time, featuring images of Cyprus, landscapes and landmarks that continue to symbolize the island's beauty and potential until today.
You may see in the clipping above (image) the terms 'offshore' and 'haven', but Cyprus today is fully compliant and respected for its transparency and regulatory standards whilst at the same time having most attractive tax and legal regimes.
Even though the years have passed, much remains the same. The message in the brochures, focused on why Cyprus is an ideal location for businesses and investment, still resonates today. The island’s strategic location, natural beauty, and rich heritage remain central and appealing, just as they did in 1988.
Although the Totalserve Group has since expanded to include E&G Economides LLC, Totalserve Trustees Ltd, and other associated firms, the essence of what we stood for back then continues. Our commitment to Cyprus and its potential has never wavered.
